The only

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree and SBEC Professional
Counselor Certificate or be eligible for an emergency permit. To be
eligible for Professional Counselor permit, applicant must have (1) A valid
PARTIAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in the
placement of students in an educational environment most conducive to their
educational needs. Maintains appropriate number of students per class by
identifying and placing students in appropriate programs. Maintains
status as General Educational Diploma (GED) examiner at all levels:
Windham School District (WSD), Texas Education Agency (TEA), General
Education Diploma Testing Service (GEDTS). Coordinates unit-testing
program for GED, E.A. and Vocational Assessment. Coordinates all
counseling activities with the Unit Principal. Provides small groups,
large groups, as well as classroom Guidance and Counseling on Unit.
Assists CTE teachers with skills tests and final exams.
* Outside applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing
as a condition of employment.

who are ERS or TRS Retirees or Retirees from Correctional Managed Health Care
are required to write 'ERS/TRS/CMHC' at the top of the application form.
