Vocational Custodial Technician Instructor

The Windham School District is accepting applications for a Custodial Technician instructor at the Murray Unit in Gatesville, Texas.

Minimum Qualifications for Certified Applicants:  Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) teacher certification in Trade and Industrial Education with appropriate work approval -OR- a Vocational Trades and Industry with appropriate work approval -OR- any Agriculture, Technology education, Industrial Technology, or Industrial Arts certificate.

Minimum Qualifications for Non-Certified Applicants:  A high school diploma or GED with 5 years of full-time, wage earning experience, within the last 8 years, in the custodial field -OR- a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of full-time, wage earning experience, within the last 8 years, -AND- a deficiency plan from a college or university working towards vocational trade and industry certification. Vocational instructors shall obtain the required industry certification/license before the end of the contract year in which the teacher is first employed in order to maintain employment with the district.
