Piping Trades / Plumbing Instructor

The Windham School District is accepting applications for a Piping Trades/Plumbing Instructor at the Connally Unit in Kenedy, Texas.

Minimum Qualifications for Certified Applicants: Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) teacher certification in Trade and Industrial Education with appropriate work approval -OR- a Vocational Trades and Industry with appropriate work approval.

Minimum Qualifications for Non-Certified Applicants: A high school diploma or GED with 5 years full-time wage-earning experience, within the last 8 years, in the Piping /Plumbing Trades field -OR- a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years full-time wage-earning experience within the last 8 years, -AND- a deficiency plan from a college or university working towards vocational trades and industry certification. Vocational instructors shall obtain the required certification/license before the end of the contract year in which the teacher is first employed in order to maintain employment with the district.
